Once you submit your brief and order, we will contact you by email within 24 hours to arrange a call. We will ask you questions about your brief to ensure we have everything we need ahead of the shoot. At this point we will confirm timescales for when the shoot is and when you can expect to receive your images. We typically deliver campaigns within 7-10 days.
Ship/drop off images
You can either send your products to us via recorded delivery, or drop them off in person, to our office in Hertfordshire, or studio in London. We ask to receive the products no less than 3 days before the shoot in case we need to do any preparation work in advance.
On the day of the shoot, our photographer and assistant will work together to prepare the set, which includes any ironing of clothes and cleaning of products. The more images you order, the better the value for money, as we have to set the studio up the same way regardless of volume.
Once we have shot your products, we will spend time editing and retouching in line with the brief. This is where we really bring your products to life, making them look crisp and clear, ready to publish on your website and impress your customers.
Once we have completed the editing of your images, we will upload them to your account dashboard, and you will be notified by email. From here you can request any revisions you may have or simply download your files ready to publish.
You can either collect your products in person or arrange to have them collected by a courier, whichever is more convenient. They will be available to collect as soon as you have confirmed you are happy with your images.
Ghost mannequin — or invisible mannequin photography
A style of photography that shows off the fit and shape of a garment without the need for models. Multiple photos of the garment are taken on a mannequin, then the mannequin is ‘removed’ digitally, giving you a lifelike image that shows off the product at its best.
Flat clothing photography is achieved without the use of models or mannequins, saving time and expense. The garments are laid flat on the floor or piece of furniture, and are shot either folded or open. Props can also be used to add character and context to your product images.
Using a model guarantees your product shots look as professional as possible. Your garments will be displayed in the best possible way, because they show customers how your products look like when worn. You’ll have the option to choose the model that best reflects your brand, too.
Great images sell products, and with the rise in online shopping, using high-quality product images has never been so important. By using the best-possible product images you’ll make a great first impression with your customers – and could be the key to clinching a sale.
Jewellery is romantic, desirable and aspirational, which is why it’s so important to ensure your jewellery product shots are as good as they can be. The key to great jewellery photography is capturing its beautiful detail – achieve this, and your customers will fall in love with your product.
Packshot photography shows your product alongside its packaging and branding. This style of product shot shows your customers exactly what they are potentially buying. Packshot photography is a key stimulus for making a sale, given that it triggers brand recognition, and is a highly effective form of product image.
